The original Huawei Watch GT originally released in 2018 was one of the first watches to launch on its own in-house designed LightOS software and then some three years later we have the release in June 2021 of the Huawei Watch GT 3 so with three years apart let’s take a look at What’s the difference between the Huawei Watch GT and Huawei Watch GT 3. 

The original Huawei Watch boasts features not included on the Huawei Watch GT3 such as a 3D compass, a Cadence sensor and a Multi-sport mode but the Huawei Watch GT 3 while it has ditched these three components has added in features such as it can monitor your blood oxygenation levels, has a temperature sensor and can be used to answer calls so let’s take a closer look at some of the similarities and differences of these models.

We can see from the above specifications there are a lot of similarities but small changes have been made to the Huawei Watch GT 3 such as measuring blood oxygenation levels, Bluetooth versions and increasing the battery life on what was already an impressive battery life with the GT.
